 Blue Beetle is a superhero character from DC Comics. There have been multiple characters to take on the mantle of Blue Beetle, but the most well-known is Jaime Reyes, who first appeared in "Infinite Crisis" #3 in 2006. Jaime Reyes is a Mexican-American teenager from El Paso, Texas who discovers a strange alien scarab that fuses itself to his spine and grants him a suit of high-tech armor, enhanced strength, flight, and various other abilities.

Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle has become a fan-favorite character in the DC Comics universe, and has also appeared in various animated TV shows and video games. As I mentioned earlier, there have also been plans for a Blue Beetle movie, but as of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, no release date had been announced.
